Clyde B. Wasdin Th.D. Senior Pastor
Our pastor is an aggressive visionary that has a strong love and burden
for greater Bakersfield . Even though he has pastored some of America's largest
and most dynamic churches, Christ Cathedral is his special calling. He and his wife
have ministered and traveled in 39 nations and have been around the world twice. Pastor
Wasdin is also an author and convention speaker. Pastor's statement is, “ I have
desired to begin a new church dictated by the Scripture as God has called me
specifically to do”. We are pleased that Christ Cathedral is that church.

Carolyn Wasdin, Education – New Ministries
Carolyn has been in the ministry many years and has traveled
around the world speaking in colleges, Mission Stations, and Churches. She
is often the chosen speaker for seminars and Women's Meetings in the U.S. She has
a real desire to Christ formed in each life and individuals walking in the light of the Word. She
also directs some of the music groups of our church. She is the Chancellor of “Beacon
University I.O.M. Bakersfield. We have 205 courses And 102 professors with more
than 28,000 credit students and at presence in more than 20 nations. Students from
Christ Cathedral and the city study courses for 10 hours one time a month and
earn credits toward their Dr. Degree in Christian Education. See her

Rev. Chad Blain, Children's & Youth Minister
Chad is a graduate of Southwestern Assembly of God University
in Dallas, Texas. He has a heart for leadership and to seeing people
reach their maximum potential. He has been trained for and involved in
the ministry of evangelism and preaching. Chad also directs our children's
ministry and G.E.M (God's Extreme Ministry), the youth of our church.
He and his wife Priscilla have hearts for the youth and are both

Rev. April Woltmann, Worship – Drama
April has been trained for and involved in the ministry of drama
and music for many years. She is presently the worship leader as well
as a gifted singer and is talented in involving people with like gifts in church productions.
She directs three major productions each year. April and her husband Shawn, work together in the
dramas as well as other areas of ministry. April has a diverse portfolio, which includes our dance team Front Line, Saints Alive our senior citizens group, coordinates wedding ceremonies, and is Executive Producer for our weekly television show Spirit Fire. April is also a conference and motivational speaker for churches as well as corporations. The dynamic delivery of her messages are enhanced by her humor.
